With a bigger than life stage show and some great rock anthems, KISS clawed their way to the top of the charts during the 70’s to become one of the biggest acts in the history of Rock n’ Roll.

In 1976, the band’s frontman, Paul Stanley, was approached by Ibanez to collaborate on a signature guitar that would become the iconic instrument he would forever be associated with.

In 1977, when Paul and Ibanez sat down to create his signature guitar, it was to be a totally unique design, but while perusing through the Ibanez catalog, one guitar in particular caught the frontman’s eye: The Artist 2663.

Later to be known as the “Iceman”, the Artist wasn’t exactly a popular model at the time, but Stanley was intrigued by its asymmetrical shape and unusual body style and decided this would be the template for his signature instrument - The PS.

For more than 30 years, Paul Stanley has reigned supreme as one of the single-most recognisable front men in the history of rock and roll. Although preferring to live his off stage life out of the media spotlight he continues to be the chief songwriter, driving force and unwavering voice of KISS.

A visionary and trendsetter since the early 1970s, Stanley's passion for both the musical and visual arts has perhaps been the key to the astonishing ongoing worldwide phenomenon known as KISS.

Based on the iconic Iceman guitar, the PS120 certainly looks the part!

The distinctive body shape is mahogany with a maple top and features abalone binding and the set-in neck has Acrylic & Abalone block inlays.

Outside of aesthetics the dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers will give you that fat, warm classic rock & roll sound and are included as Paul's signature choice.

The custom 3-piece mahogany neck is set-in, helping to transfer vibrations through the guitar and when coupled with Full Tune III bridge, helps boost sustain.

On the flip side, the ebony fretboard produces a tight low and mid range with an iconic attack on the high end.
